I assume this is about submitting OCs to the game? OwO In that case you can always commission an artist to draw your OC or finish one of the half finished drawings UwU There’s even some artists on tumblr who take requests!~
We do unfortunately need a picture reference though so we don’t make any mistakes in the design as it can’t be changed later. And of course we’d want your OC to look the way you imagined them in the game.
But yes, as I said there are options to get someone else to draw your oc.

Does Blaze count as multiverse mentions? Because Blaze is definitely in the game. We’re not gonna go into the Archie world though. (Sadly because I really love Scourge but having archie canon for this game would make it too complicated)
And the Tech demo is about 30% done, by which I mean the writing is done. It’s just the art that takes a while, once the art is there it’s just a matter of putting it all together. <3 But it’s getting there. >w<

Immortal OCs are only sad when they’re put into a romance with a mortal character. Otherwise??? Good! Isn’t it the best if your OC can’t die?
If you’re asking if we can use an immortal OC in the game?…. mmm I don’t see why not? They’d just be really really unhappy and lonely after any of the big bad endings.

Sonic and the True King and its Demo are Visual Novel games UwU
I assume since it’s a Visual Novel you could say it’s sort of first person, yes.
The battle system is somewhat of an experiment. I haven’t seen many VNs with battle systems, and the few I have seen have replaced the battles with mini-games like bubble shooters.
Our Battle system is decision based. Imagine it like reading an adventure novel that gives you free reign of the main character during the action scenes, but depending on what you decide the other characters react and the outcome of the battle changes.
Some features that we’re going to test for practicality in the demo later are, a persistent healthbar that basically records your ‘mistakes’ during battle. (Mistakes in airquotes here because not every time you can get injured is a mistake. Sometimes it’s what you -have to do- to achieve a specific outcoome)
The injuries then carries on into the next fight and so on and so on. Options to be healed are limited and losing all your health results in Game Over.
Status effects like ‘bleeding’ and ‘poison’ are also something we’re testing.
And the last feature we’re only testing so far are timed responses. Which is basically the Visual Novel equivalent to quicktime events. That’s roughly the concept of the battle system. But as I said we’re still testing things out so it might change until the demo comes out.

Honestly, I can’t say that for sure yet. While most of the game is written already, I know from experience that a bunch of the dialogue is going to change while it’s being put into the actual game. So it’s very possible. Actually I think I wrote one scene like that into the Demo, already.

They will appear in both, the demo and the final game UwU in… some capacity. Unfortunately I can’t tell you more. But yes! The OCs who are in the Demo will make a return.
I… am going to assume that you meant to ask if you can submit an OC you don’t want us to post on this blog. In which case. Yes you can. That’s why the submission form has a line asking you if you’ll allow us to post your submission or not. <3 I’m sorry if that wasn’t very clear.
You -do- however have to be okay with your OC being drawn by our artist and being in the visual novel. If you do not wish the OC to be credited to your tumblr blog in the credits in the end please also give us a name to credit you with. <3

Well for that particular reason we included this:
into the recruiting post.
However aside from promising that and saying that we really just love OC’s and want to give them more of a platform we can’t do much to assure you of this.
So if you don’t trust us with your OC then that is entirely alright and the choice to submit an OC to us or not is also entirely yours.
Though here is a thought: We put a lot of love and work into this project. This entire Game means a LOT to us and naturally we want it to do well. But a game cannot do well without publicity and finally the people who play it. So if we start stealing OCs (I’m not even sure how that would work to be honest but let’s just say hypothetically we start stealing OCs) then the internet would call us out on it and we would lose everything we’re currently working so hard to achieve.
So if we went and stole people’s OCs we’d be hurting ourselves more than you, because you can still prove that the OC is yours and we’d be entirely in the wrong. So you wouldn’t really lose your OC but go through a lot of grief, and we would lose everything we’re working for. By all means, that just doesn’t sound like a desirable outcome for anyone.
So, again, it is entirely your choice whether you want to send us your OC or not, but you have our word, as stated in the disclaimer above, we own none of the OCs and will treat them with the utmost respect <3
