Will the main characters go into super form in some scenario or are you not adding any connection of the chaos emeralds to your game.

Some of them will go into super form. Not the protagonist though. The chaos emeralds exist in sattk, they’re just entirely secondary and the plot doesn’t focus on FINDING them <3 they’re just a thing that’s around.


Nope, sorry. Personally I’m a big fan of Scourge so I find this a bit sad, but we’ve come to the conclusion that including the archie verse would make the story unnecessarily complicated. Though of course I know Sally wasn’t JUST in the archie comics. But we’re basically limiting ourselves to the games canon.
(The inofficial reason is that our artist (me) has absolutely no self control and if we say “ok” to including archie canon this game will never be finished cuz our artist is gonna spend 84 years just drawing all the cool characters’ expression sheets. And that’s just not practical. Nobody wants to wait for a game that long)


Honestly I hadn’t thought about it. I might make one after the Demo is out. It sounds like a fun idea though!

Also, on another note, because this has been bothering me for so long! ... what do you do if you have original characters but no drawing of them yet? I... write fan fics first and foremost; I don't usually draw, so... most of the drawings I have of the characters are not even half-finished sketches... ;^;

I assume this is about submitting OCs to the game? OwO In that case you can always commission an artist to draw your OC or finish one of the half finished drawings UwU There’s even some artists on tumblr who take requests!~
We do unfortunately need a picture reference though so we don’t make any mistakes in the design as it can’t be changed later. And of course we’d want your OC to look the way you imagined them in the game.
But yes, as I said there are options to get someone else to draw your oc.

I went back to look at the post of the sky amulet and wanted to know that is the hole in the middle a seventh sky shard or am I being paranoid or something.

The Legend only tells of 6 shards that were needed to banish the darkness. That’s all we know UwU. The hole in the middle might have a different meaning? Who knows. I can’t say for sure. ;^D

Does/Do the artist(s) working on the game have dA pages we can watch?

Will there be an multiverse sonic world mentions in the game and what percentage of the soon to be released game is done.

Does Blaze count as multiverse mentions? Because Blaze is definitely in the game. We’re not gonna go into the Archie world though. (Sadly because I really love Scourge but having archie canon for this game would make it too complicated)
And the Tech demo is about 30% done, by which I mean the writing is done. It’s just the art that takes a while, once the art is there it’s just a matter of putting it all together. <3 But it’s getting there. >w<

What is your opinion on OCs that are technically immortal?

How immortal is technically immortal? Sayyyy all of mobius just died. would they survive? Cuz, man, good for them!!!
Immortal OCs are only sad when they’re put into a romance with a mortal character. Otherwise??? Good! Isn’t it the best if your OC can’t die?
If you’re asking if we can use an immortal OC in the game?…. mmm I don’t see why not? They’d just be really really unhappy and lonely after any of the big bad endings.

Is this game a turn-based RPG? If so, how complex will the battle system be? Is it 1st person like Dragon Quest or side view like Final Fantasy?

I assume since it’s a Visual Novel you could say it’s sort of first person, yes.
The battle system is somewhat of an experiment. I haven’t seen many VNs with battle systems, and the few I have seen have replaced the battles with mini-games like bubble shooters.
Our Battle system is decision based. Imagine it like reading an adventure novel that gives you free reign of the main character during the action scenes, but depending on what you decide the other characters react and the outcome of the battle changes.
Some features that we’re going to test for practicality in the demo later are, a persistent healthbar that basically records your ‘mistakes’ during battle. (Mistakes in airquotes here because not every time you can get injured is a mistake. Sometimes it’s what you -have to do- to achieve a specific outcoome)
The injuries then carries on into the next fight and so on and so on. Options to be healed are limited and losing all your health results in Game Over.
Status effects like ‘bleeding’ and ‘poison’ are also something we’re testing.
And the last feature we’re only testing so far are timed responses. Which is basically the Visual Novel equivalent to quicktime events. That’s roughly the concept of the battle system. But as I said we’re still testing things out so it might change until the demo comes out.

Will there be moments where the main characters or oc’s break the forth wall or get out of character?

Honestly, I can’t say that for sure yet. While most of the game is written already, I know from experience that a bunch of the dialogue is going to change while it’s being put into the actual game. So it’s very possible. Actually I think I wrote one scene like that into the Demo, already.
