Well this is a non-profit game and since we own no rights to the sonic characters, the OCs or the world of mobius, we cannot legally make money with this game. However making a visual novel is never cheap.

We would hereby like to formerly apologize that this entirely non-profit game which is being created with a lot of love by a really small developer team, in their free time, does not meet your personal tastes or expectations and we have thus lost your clearly invaluable support.
Furthermore we’d like to apologize for chosing
the route of putting our focus on the huge action adventure plot, many
of the lovely canon characters of the Sonic franchise, and even more fan
created characters.
And last but not least we are terribly sorry about the amount of clothes that are featured in our game which, we understand, must be deeply disturbing for you.
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We wish you all the best to find content creators willing to cater to your personal needs for free while ignoring just about everyone else. They will appear in both, the demo and the final game UwU in… some capacity. Unfortunately I can’t tell you more. But yes! The OCs who are in the Demo will make a return.

No, unfortunately we can’t do that. Since we can’t show you previews of the art the risk of getting colours wrong would be too high. So we’re only accepting coloured references. I’m sorry UwU

Hmm some of the roles, like the villager roles don’t require an age. So if you write into your application that there is no age but you’re applying for one of those roles, I’ll know it’s your OC, and keep it in mind.
The villagers can be children or adults it doesn’t matter <3 So you’ll be okay there. But of course you can always take your time to think about a canon age for your OC, after all the applications will be open until the end of december <3
Anonymous asked:hi!! im very hyped about this and am considering submitting some of my ocs to see if they might make it in the game and was wondering based on what parameters youll be deciding which characters make it or not :o
We’ll be judging based on how well the OCs fit into the world, story and their respective roles. Of course that is entirely subjective. Since I already know that 99% of the OCs are gonna be absolutely amazing it’s gonna be really hard to pick the 32 to make it into the game if we get more than 32 submissions.
So in the end I can’t really give you a concrete answer on how we’ll be picking the OCs. It’s mostly gonna be a gut feeling thing. And of course that means in no way or form that the OCs who don’t make it into the game are bad or inferior in any way. It’ll just be the case that they don’t fit the world as well as other OCs or that they only fit a role that has already been filled by a different OC.
So please go ahead and submit your OCs, whether they will be picked or not you can be certain that WE are going to love them either way! >W< And I’m sorry I couldn’t give you a clearer answer.

There will be no voice acting in the Visual novel except for the intro. So no worries there. We’re looking forward to meeting your OC.

Of course they are! You can only play as the Protagonist. The Eggman Scientist. But there is a whole lot other major characters that you will encounter and without them… I don’t think your Protagonist could save the world, yes. You will in fact be helping THEM. And not the other way around.
In total there are 13 main characters. Plus the Protagonist. Plus a whole bunch of important side characters who also play their respective important parts in the story.
