Aside from a few that we liked too much to ignore, and the few who’re going to be in the Demo, we don’t really have all the slots filled yet. We have gotten more than enough submissions to fill them all but we’re only going to decide which characters get which roles after the submission deadline at the end of December. So aside from the few that I’ve mentioned, nothing’s written in stone yet. <3
Sonic and the True King - Sonic’s Theme
It’s the middle of the week! So here’s the second custom piece of music Cleffy created for us! It’s a fantastic Sonic nostalgia medley and I’m not gonna lie I’ve been listening to this on repeat while drawing for the game. It will serve as Sonic’s own theme song and the Green Hill Zone theme. I cannot stress enough how much I’m personally in love with this song.

From the bottom of my heart. Thank you all so much for your love, support, and time. I truly treasure the opportunity to share this with you all. This album was the result of trying to break from a block, and its one of my favorite things I’ve made. I really hope you all enjoy it. “Every 10,001 years, the Second Moon appears and transports any who witness it to another dimension. Those in this new dimension are capable of walking through and breathing under water as if it were air. There are many bioluminescent and surreal flora and fauna. Perhaps the most shocking part of this occurrence is the ability to witness past experiences from those who were brought into this dimension. Almost as if watching the scenes play out as if they were happening in front of you in the present. Witnesses are unable to interact with past experiences, but are able to observe them from any perspective or angle, even through the eyes of those they’re observing. Despite all the evidence of past civilizations, there are no obvious signs of any still around. No buildings, no towns, no vehicles, just surreal nature. Those in this other realm are immune from harm or danger.
When the observers are returned to their home, they find only 10 minutes and 1 second has passed, despite spending hours there.”

Sonic and the True King - Music
Hello everybody!
This week we have a bit less visual stuff to show. But not to worry. We have something -just- as good!!!
We’re going to talk about the Music in Sattk! And soon enough we’ll even give you some music to listen to as well.
Now, Sonic and the True King, is an entirely non-profit project that is being created by a tiny tiny team. So the budget for this game is virtually non-existant. Thus, most of the music used in the game was composed by the incredible Kevin MacLeod who’s Royalty Free music you can find on incompetech.com (I would put in a link but tumblr has recently made posts containing links hidden in the tumblr search feature)
Alls his music is completely free, and yet really good in quality, which has a good- and a bad side.
On the good side, it means we have access to a diverse soundtrack to fit all the scenes you’ll be playing through in Sattk.
On the bad side, there is a high chance that you’ve heard the same tracks in other indie-games before.
BUT, I said most of the music comes from incompetech.com, not all of it.
In fact one part of your tiny tiny developer team happens to be an incredibly talented composer who has already created two amazing tracks for the game which we’ll be sharing with you soon! And they’re also in charge of composing the game’s official theme song. That, however you will most likely have to wait for, until the game’s release.
We hope you’re looking forward to the two tracks we’ll be sharing with you in the next days because we’ve certainly been listening to them on repeat since we got them.
Since I’ve answered some recent asks about our musician I’m really looking forward to sharing some custom music with you! So I’m going to be postponing the talk about the Demo’s setting for one week and instead talk about music next week. <3

The Legend only tells of 6 shards that were needed to banish the darkness. That’s all we know UwU. The hole in the middle might have a different meaning? Who knows. I can’t say for sure. ;^D

This is such a fantastic question. Let me try to answer it as best as I can without spoiling anything.
As you know the game plays on Mobius. So as far as known, canon religion goes we have the whole Chaos thing. Chaos, being a god of sorts. I figure we can also count Light and Dark Gaia to the deities.
Now we’re adding a third religion. The ancient, and long gone, babylonian religion. In which we’re completely ignoring the canon from the sonic riders games about genies and whatnot. Instead we’re leaning much closer to the -actual- ancient babylon.
Which, has a lot of gods. Well… “gods”. But trust me you’ll learn a lot about these gods and their story in the game. They are actually quite important to the plot. >W<
Unfortunately that also means I can’t tell you much more. Like their names.
